Bottle. Color: Ruby to copper, small beige head. Taste: Nice, bit complex fruity mix of medium sweet and medium bitter notes. Raisins. Warming mouthfeel from the alcohol. Medium to full body. Soft carbonation. Very nice beer for some slow sipping on a relaxing evening.

Bottle from het Biermoment, batchnr 2016017A BB 03/11/2021, 33 cl sample. Hazy copper to dark brown color, short frothy head. Aroma of orange marmalade, some treacle and molasses, slight paint thinner. Quite a lot of treacle sweetness, some toasted and caramel malts, orange marmelade. Quite enjoyable.

12 oz bottle shared by my friend Ryan that he brought from the Netherlands. Nose is bubblegum, toffee, and golden raisins. Clear rusty brown with a small beige head. Flavor is lightly sweet with white peppery notes and lots of bubblegum.

(Draught at Craft & Draft, Amsterdam, 25 Feb 2017) Dark amber colour with dense, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with caramel, dried fruit, red berries and cherries. Malty, fruity taste with notes of dried fruit, raisins, caramel, candy sugar, cherries in brandy and a vinous, warming finish with a mild bitterness. Full body, quite sweet. Powerful, and possibly a touch too sweet, but quite tasty and warming. Nice one.

Bottle at beerlovers bar. Pours dark amber. Good white head. Smell is sweet, very fruity. Taste is very sweet ( sugar ? ) fruity, very full. Nice lasting , sweet finish. Donβt get the usual raisin-type tastes. It comes across a bit weird ( yet not off ) in the beginning , but it makes up for that in the aftertaste. Decent mf and carbo.

Tap @ Brewda. Zwart bier met schuim. Smaak is krachtig, zoet met iets van rook, karamel en noten.
