500ml bottle, brewed by Drop Bear. Pours a very dark brown, nice tan head staying the duration. Aroma of chocolate, caramel, roast malt, bit of liquorice. Taste is much the same, chocolate and caramel malts, some roast, some dark fruit / liquorice notes, a bit of an earthy note too, bitter finish. Medium bodied. Pretty standard stuff.

500ml bottle shared in my bar with Phil (a friend). Black bodied, tanned topping. Malty little number with a roasted/toasted richness, some coffee and chocolate flavours reach out from this earthy Stout.

Bottle from King Arthur's Labyrinth. Color: Black, brown head. Aroma: Roasted malt, black coffee, dark chocolate. Taste: Espresso, roasted malt, dark chocolate. Earthy. Moderate sweet and over moderate bitter. Smooth, almost creamy mouthfeel. Medium body, below average carbonation. Long lasting finish. Nice British Stout.
