On tap at MBCC Red Session. Pours a hazy brown with medium beige head that lasts. The aroma is yeast, dark fruit, wood. Slick body, raisin, oak tannin, dry finish, very good.

Pours hazy brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, hint of tartness and caramel. Taste is light sweet and light sour with an average, slightly dry, light tart and caramel finish. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Draught @ MBCC'18 [ Gold Session ]. - Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2018, Øksnehallen, Halmtorvet 11, 1700 København V, Danmark.[ As Oxbow Sarcophagus ].Unclear medium to dark amber colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, wheat, wood, moderate yeasty, saison yeast, dark fruit, oak, sour fruit - grapes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, saison yeast, fruity yeast, grapes, wood, sour fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. MBCC. hazy brown with small tan head. Aroma is malt, sour, sour fruit, wood and caramel. Flavour is malt, caramel, dark fruit, sour fruit, oak, sweet, citric, medium sweet and sour.

Dark amber with a light-to-moderate haziness. Beige head fades slowly to a ring.
Chocolate caramel comes across strong and sticky, in the nose, with acetic notes matching wood, bourbon and vanilla to produce a very robust, powerful effect. Not much coolship-like character, perhaps some peppery phenol but that could easily be the bourbon barrel.
In the mouth it's surprisingly light, bordering thin and very highly attenuated. Bourbon-fig-plum is the main force of flavor with endless dark fruits accentuated by lactic and acetic acidity. Maybe a bit too dark and dry overall, with strong acidity building on the palate. A little more malt depth, barrel tannin and perhaps wheat or oat would help round this out a touch. Still, as with most Oxbow, it's nothing to really complain about and quite good.

MBCC 2018. Red. Pedal to the Metal session. Keg. Hazy amber - brown beer, small cream colour head. Light dry palate, decent fine carbonation. Dry.sour ripe fruits, a lemon tang runs throughout. Tangy dry finish. Quite dry and sharp.
