We present to you our biggest change in the last 25 years. Zlatý Bažant 12% - Slovak lager completely changes the recipe to make it even more delicious than ever before. It is significantly bitterer and has a full, balanced taste.

0.5 liter draft at Zlatý Bažant (Pheasant Pub) in Bratislava, Slovakia. The pour is a clear golden with a one inch pure white head that is lasting. The aroma is clean grass, fresh cereal malt and a soft herbal to the back. The taste is mostly the cereal malt, nicely chewy and finishes dry with grass and a hint of mineral. The herbal is present in the after taste. The palate is medium to light bodied with soft natural carbonation and the grass and mineral finish.

500ml can from Bierdekel in Moscow. It’s been ages since I’ve seen Zlaty Bazant in this country. Pours clear gold with a thin white head. Aroma is malt, bread, vegetable notes. Taste is light to medium sweet, grain, malt. Light bitter finish. Weak macro pils.

Czy zmiana receptury cos dala, nie sadza bo juz uraczylem ze trzy te zmiany. Bazanty kupowalem jeszcze jak Slowacja nie byla w UE. Tyle w temacie

Canned 500ml. -Courtesy of Hrabren, shared with him & Marko, thanks! Darker golden coloured, medium sized white head, light malty and grainy nose. Sweet malty, grainy, light herbal and touch of yeast with bitterish finish.

Canned, 4.7% (12°), 12 EBC, 32 EBU. Chill hazed full golden body, off-white head. Odd aroma mixing floral hops with something fruity, wine-like almost, mildly herbal-minerally. Lean, dry, minerally taste, herbal hoppy touches. I mean... okay, not too sweet, dried out, some middling hoppiness. Yet another macro lager, but far from the worst one.

0.5 l can thanks to Pinta for bringing from Slovakia, shared with Ogi and Marko. Clear golden, small off-white head. Light grainy aroma, soft cooked corn and vegetable touch. Light hoppy grassy aroma. Light body, moderate bitterness, grassy herbal hops, sweetness, light vegetable. Bitter finish.

Das Zlatý Bažant 🪶ist eines der meistgetrunkenen Biere des Landes und wird auch in anderen Ländern wie Belarus in Lizenz gebraut.
Der Cashcow 🐄 der Brauerei wurde jetzt eine neue Rezeptur spendiert. Auch wenn man den Unterschied kaum merkt, so hat sich das Bier doch verändert. Es kommt süffig und freundlicher herüber, hat aber dafür keine Ecken und Kanten mehr, was es zu einem idealen Durstlöscher oder Speisebegleiter macht, aber sonst keinen echten eigenen Charakter hat.
