Our Komes Russian Imperial Stout was good, but it can always be better. Completely new recipe with cararye malt and 30 Plato instead of 25.

bottle - from local beer club, shared during Christmas Eve. Nice - first polish Imperial Stout - lighter in texture, but very nice flavor

2024 bottle from trade. Malty roast stout nose once uncapped. Hmm… I had thought this was a barrel-aged stout, but the label only says it was lagered. In what, they don't say. But once poured, it's a deep brown to black beer with a lot of fizz feeding a head that's gone in an instant. Nose brings in a lot more alcohol, suggesting it comes from the abv alone. Taste is indeed boozy. Not a lot of roast, and a light mouthfeel. But its booziness is a nice feature. No dregs in the bottom of the bottle, so it's also filtered.

pint bottle. Pours a jet black color with minimal head. The aroma is strong with well roasted grains, dark chocolate and anise. The taste featured mostly anise, followed by burnt grains and some bitter walnuts. The palate seemed a bit off, not the rich creamy I usually expect from a big stout. Finishes long with lingering burnt grains. Overall: nice, but not great.

Wrote a review and submitted it with an error. Have to resubmit. Everything I considered has changed. Very annoying.

0.5 bottle. Zakopane. Az üveg letisztult, a sör szép barnás fekete, bár habjai kitöltésekor is alig volt. (2 éves, 2023-as a sör.) Aroma: keményen, "szúrósan" földes, ahogy melegedett csokis is lett, egyébként alapból kávés , de az is ilyen "karcos". Test: brutális. Extra.

Bottle. Cola brown with a small tan head. Aroma is fruitcake and malt. Taste is also fruitcake. Just an average imperial stout.

16/02/2024 Aromat ciemne słody czekolada, śliwka Ciemno brązowe, piana brązowa opadające, klarowne. Smak kukułki goryczka czekoladowa, słodycz dobra bardziej słodka Ciało duże gęste oleiste, nagazowanie niskie, alkohol wyczuwalny na języku, finisz średniej długości. Ogólnie konsystencja jest dobra i smak też, ale bez żadnych innych atrakcji zwykły ris. Mimo wszystko warto kupić warto spróbować

500 mL bottle poured, picked up for just a few bucks at Special Brews. Quite the stand out brew for the cost that's for sure. Big roast up front. Aroma is a touch hot, with some licorice and toasty malts. Bran, bready grains, huge roast on the lingering palate. Subtle sweetness all around as well. Layered despite admittedly being poured a little too cold. Fun fresh, would love to try this with a year or so on it. I think I can throw a few more bucks together for that.
