Stworzyliśmy naszego RISa na nowo, żeby wnieść go na zupełnie inny poziom. Całkowicie nowy zasyp uzupełniony o karmelizowany słód żytni daje bogactwo smaków od czerwonych owoców po nuty kawy i czekolady. Potężna pełnia wynikająca ze wzmocnienia piwa o dodatkowe 5 stopni Plato zbalansowana palono-goryczkowym finiszem.
Our Komes Russian Imperial Stout was good, but it can always be better. Completely new recipe with cararye malt and 30 Plato instead of 25.

Capped 375 from Total Wine in Vacaville, CA. Pours dark brn/blk with a transient, slight tan head. Aroma is a touch of heat with dark fruit and a dark malt note. Full bodied. Flavor is dark fruit, chocolate, dark malt, tobacco, earth. And heat. Not dry, but not sticky. Bitter arguably from the malt. Not sure about hop content. Good flavor.

Pours black with a small, quickly dissipating black head. It smells of roast malt, coffee, and dark fruit.. The flavor is quite sweet with roast malt, dark fruit, chocolate, soy sauce, and alcohol. Full bodied. It’s a bit heavy on the sweetness but is still very good.

Fles 50cl thuis. Flink zoet, wat soja, bitters, roasted malts, chocolade, suikers, caramel, pruim, rozijn. (15-6-2024).

2021 bottle opened in 2024. Holds up quite well. Oddball caramel, fruity, sugary chocolate. Too big and sugary. Pretty much that cocoa powder and sugar feel. Cheap and not that great.

Wood, prune, chocolate malt, alcohol, and hay aroma. Black with minimal head. Very sweet raisin/prune, chocolate fudge malt, and moderately bitter hay and alcohol flavor. Good body.

Dark brown color with minimal brownish head. Bread, chocolate, roasted malt, dried fruits, oak, nuts aromas. Sweet with moderate bitterness. Full body, bit dry texture. Long warming finish.

Dark brown with deep red reflexes, low head. In aroma - plum, roastiness, drugstore in the back. Very sweet. FULL body. Sticky in mouth.

Dark brown. No head. Deep fruitiness, and a sweet malt presence. Alcohol late. It's definitely a bit simple, but it's not bad. Just have to adapt to the big fruity old school character.

Pour is a thick black sludge with no head at all. Aroma is some roasted malt, more dark fruit and alcohol. Flavor is burnt malt, burnt sugar and alcohol. Finish leaves a lot of syrupy molasses malt on the tongue. Not the best Russian Impy stout I've had but this was well worth the $4 a bottle I paid. Nice roasted malt with some molasses and alcohol. Perfect cigar beer.
