Can from Stefan: pours hazyish with white head. Aroma is ginger, lemon, mineral. Sweetish, lightly tart. Refreshing.

Pint can. pours a slightly hazy yellow color with a small white head.
The aroma is medium in strength with Belgian yeasts and lemons. The taste is more of the same, yeast, lemon and ginger. The palate is light and crisp. Finishes long with lingering lemons. Overall: Decent--really nice saison.

Can at home. Yellow pour and foamy head. Nos risible on and ginger. Tastes of those same items hint of wheat. Tastes more like shandy than saison. Refreshing enough.

Canned 7/9/24, drunk 9/12/24. Clear, muted brass-blonde. Large, white head, slowly recedes. Some lemongrass character and/or ginger but still a reasonable amount of Sacch character showing black pepper and plaster. Biscuit, dough, honey. Balanced, though certainly ginger-forward. Ginger is strong, acidic, juicy almost with plentiful malt, good attenuation and light honey-like malt character. Gentle saison notes with no bubble gum or clove. But yeah, a lot of ginger...I see it's supposed to be based on a ginger shandy but then maybe don't call it a farmhouse ale...

Can from Tavour. Pours clear light gold with a large white head. Lemon aroma with a hint of zest. Near med body. Flavor is the aroma with enough ginger to be noticeable. Dry with a bit of astringency. Zest/ginger subs for hop bitter. Refreshing.

Pours clear gold into a tulip. Bright white head with good retention recedes to coat surface. Lemon and pith aromas. Sharp with sweet lemon, ginger and coriander upfront turning to earthy pith in the medium length finish.

Oh, serves me right for drinking with my eyes. Expected not to like this (too clear!) but it's fabulously interesting. The lemon and ginger keep interchanging as the predominant taste. Makes you want to keep drinking it to work it out!

Keg at BrewDoge Clerkenwell, 10/05/24. Moderately hazed golden yellow with a white cap. Nose is lemon rind, herb, grains, hedgerow, light yeast esters. Taste comprises lemon peel, spice, herb, dusty fruits, grains, damp straw, modest yeast. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so affair.
