To celebrate our 35th anniversary, we sought inspiration from a rich and bold German confection - the Black Forest cake. Black Butte Porter lays the framework for a perfect fusion of flavors with cocoa, tart cherries, vanilla, and a hint of warm Bourbon. Savor a special occasion with layered decadence. Cheers to 35 years!

12oz @ Ryan's shared with Alex (thx for the bottle, man!) after 11h non-stop working day and after getting home twice because my wife did not want to listen to me. Appearance: dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: inky, some roasted seeds and dark fruits. Taste: along the same. Overall: ok.

12 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out bourbon barrels, cocoa, a hint of cherries, and a smaller hint of vanilla. Flavour is rich, with dark cherries, vanilla, cocoa and moderate bourbon barrel presence. The adjuncts are cohesive, blending the bourbon well with the cherries especially. Almost tastes like an old beer, as it carries some sherry-like oxidation with it. Very nice.
