Cask at The Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a clear golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, rich, light juicy citrus, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

On cask at Monty's Bar. Appearance - hazy golden. Thick head. Nose - citrus and herbs, presumably that's a spruce. Taste - orange and I'm gonna say lavender more than spruce. Palate - close to medium bodied and creamy. Lovely linger with gentle bitterness. Overall - refreshing. Mallinsons beers usually solid to good but quite samey. This one is not a heavily hopped and bitter pale/blonde which is great.

Old Fountain. Cask. Lightly hazy gold beer, tidy white head, bubbly. Palate is smooth and slightly soft. Modest fine carbonation. Sweet pale malts. Light banana and bubblegum esters. Sweet floral flavours. The general sweetness is offset by good citric peel bitterness on the backend. Touches of fresher orange and lime as well. Semi dry finish with a medium bitter linger. Interesting and drinkable.

Fox & Goose Beer Festival, Hebden Bridge. Golden-orange colour with a small head. Has plenty of hops with a citrus zest to it. Tropical fruits are more than evident with a medium bitterness.

19/XI/14 - on cask @ Euston Tap (London) - BB: n/a (2014-1346)
Clear pale orange beer, small aery irregular off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: sweet ripe peaches, little cheesy, stinky feet, some caramel. MF: no carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, melons, peaches, bit cheesy, pretty bitter. Aftertaste: fruity, caramel, cheesy touch, pretty bitter, bit of a metallic touch in only slightly. Very decent stuff. Does have that UK cheesy touch, in spite of being brewed with all US hops, apparently.

Cask at the Euston Tap - London. Pours clear yellow-gold with a frothy white head that leaves lacing. Good snout with nips of zesty lemon, pale bread, mild hay, ctrus rind. Light to medium sweet flavor with lightly pithy citrus, lemon, pale grains and bread, hay, faint grapefuit. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation; great condition. Pretty well balanced to finish though certainly erring on the side of sweet with fairly low bitterness. Further juicy hop character, lemon, mandarin orange. Good stuff.
