Super strong starting extract (26° Plato),loads of chocolatey and burnt malt, plenty of warming up alcohol, distinctive coffee, chocolate, nuts, prunes flavours. And above all, matching bitterness, one that doesn’t overwhelm, but rather encompasses all flavours beautifully.
Be sure to try our barrel aged Ragnars – Floki, Björn and Ivar – as well!

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with late awakening, small, thick, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Roasty, chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of dark chocolate, dark cocoa, hints of dark rye bread, a minimally smoky and ashy touch. Taste is bitter, roasty, minimally ashy, dark malty, slightly alcoholic. Viscous texture, smooth and soft palate, soft to flat carbonation; warming, bitter alcoholic finish. Unbalanced, boozy, not overly aromatic - quite a disappointment.

Taster from Dantomlinson - Cheers! 🍺 Thin light brown head left a mahogany coloured still body. Malt, vegetal & burnt aroma. Medium bodied, soft on the tongue with a cloying back. Heavy malt, syrup, jam, roasted, burnt tobacco & cigarette tastes.

23/XII/19 - 33cl bottle @ ElManana+1’s, BB: 6/V/21 - (2019-2195) Thanks to ElManana+1 for sharing the bottle!
Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy beige to brown head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of roasted malts, grains, cow fodder, charcoal. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: very roasted, dark chocolate, bitter, some charcoal, little malty. Aftertaste: quite a lot of alcohol, malty notes, very bitter and dry, nice stuff, very decent imperial baltic porter!
Paired with home made chocolate mousse, good combo!

Czarna smolista maz, geste oleiste i tłuste niczym ropa naftowa, ciemno brazowa piana 2 fazowa pierwsza polowa o barwie brazu, a 2 ta gorna o barwie cremy z wloskiego espresso. Srednio trwala a zapach czekolady, wykwintnych pralinek, w smaku koniakowe praliny, beczułki, dobry deser doprawiony chilli, brownie, snickersy i inne czekoladowe wyroby.

Bottle from Vršovická Galerie Piva, shared with Hrabren, Ogi & Veceo. Black body, almost no head. Pungent aroma, peanut and chocolates. Taste... sweetish, elegant, peanut, chocolate, light citric hops over the chocolate. Really, slightly too lean for the ABV but on the other hand slightly hot, but those are just details, this is excellent!
