The fifth and final release of our Harvest Green Hop series is a bold and punchy Red IPA, full of fresh Harlequin hops from hop legends Charles Faram. Their Hop Development Programme over the last few years has produced varieties that break all preconceptions about British-grown hops, and the expression of Harlequin we got from using it fresh demonstrates that perfectly.

After a first hit of pineapple, passion fruit and passion fruit on the nose, coloured malts coat your palette with festive red berries, candy sugar and Seville oranges. Mellow bitterness then cuts through with notes of cedar and tobacco leaf. This is a beer that showcases the future of the UK hop scene, in a style synonymous with our past.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Near clear amber brown beer, small and short lived bubbly pale tan head. Light palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light malts but, presenting a good toffee vibe, rich and not that sweet. Harlequin hops present light crisp pine and plummy orchard fruits. Light and semi dry finish brings a good whack of hop spice that keeps nibbling well into the aftertaste. Nice.
