440ml can. Clear amber, off-white head. Aroma of toasted grains, herbal hops. Taste of toasted bready malts, grains, caramel, herbal hops, mild citrus, bitter finish. Medium bodied. Nice one.

Gravity cask at the 33rd Ealing Beer Festival, 12/07/24. Golden amber topped with an off white cap. Nose is grass, airy malts, herb, toasted grains, modest citric peel. Taste comprises light breads, herb, grains, straw, dull fruit tones. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Rather pedestrian by Elusive's usual standards but it is typical of the style in that respect.

440ml can purchased from the brewery as part of a delivery and drunk at home Golden brown and clear with a small off-white head. Light malty aroma with suggestions of orange peel and cherry. Bittersweet taste with some nicely bitter hop in the back of the tongue for the finish. Caramel and strong used tea in the aftertaste. Light body, a little oily, low to medium carbonation. Moreish and enjoyable.

[Cask at the Alehouse, Reading.] A bright amber coloured pour with a loose off white head; caramel and grassy hop aroma; strong herbal bitter taste with a malty caramel body; and a crisp bitter finish. Very moreish.
