Keg at Mother Arch II, 31/07/24. Almost clear golden orange with an off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is orange zest, toasted grains, light clove, wheaten bread, pineapple. Taste comprises orange peel, grass, herb, clove, light yeast esters, hedgerow, touch of spice, bread dough, mellow tropical fruit underlayer. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close spliced with balanced light juicy hop bitterness. Solid for the style.

Perfumed mongrel. Not sure that a Hopfenweisse with such a distinctive NZ hop work well together

500ml bottle from Raynville Superstore. It oou S hazy golden - blonde with a sturdy white head. The aroma is warming spice, clove rock, wheat bread, floury, ripe banana, banana split, grassy, lime peel, greengage and plum. The taste is crispy, dry, snappy bitterness, quite clean, grassy, touch of pine, pithy, zesty citrus, lime, grapefruit, touch of grey banana and peppery spice with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Super, super drinkable. Chugged that like I was drying of dehydration.

500ml bottle. Pours an almost opaque golden colour with a big white head. Aroma is floral, spicy, subtle banana. Taste follows suit it's quite floral, peppery spice, pithy citrus and light banana notes, rindy bitterness. Medium bodied. Vic Secret isn't a hop I'm particularly keen on but that aside, it's a great example of the style as you'd expect from this lot.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Figs & Grain. Pours mostly clear gold with a sturdy, foamy white topping. Light to medium sweet flavour with nice wheat flake notes, some grass, crispy pine needles, pithy citrus, light yeast. Medium bodied with massaging carbonation. Finishes with more citrus accents, rindy bitterness, fresh grassy hops. Great stuff.
