カリフォルニアのGreen Cheek Beer Co.とのコラボレーションビール。

圧倒的な技術と経験、そして高い評価を受けながらも進化を続けるカリフォルニアの最高の友人Green Cheek Beer。
今年のニュージーランドのホップの旅で共同創業者/ヘッドブルワーのエヴァンと出会った。
うちゅうブルーイングが目指し、至らなかったWorld Beer Cupで彼らは今年1位を手にした。
この差を知るために僕はすぐにアメリカに向かった。
二人でビールについて深く話し、笑い、一緒にコラボビールを造ることになった。

355ml can, batch #750. Murky yellow, off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, mango, pineapple, dank. Taste is intense hop juice, very fruity, tropical, pineapple, mango, melon, lime, grapefruit, and a bit of dank herb. Medium bodied. Quality.

Panda, big thanks to Cloin for this rare Japanese tick. Hazy yellow gold beer, decent pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Fluffy malts, a tad thin and dry but plenty of creamy sweetness. Hops bring light crisp spicy pine. Slightly boxy citrus into a little blueberry candy Mosaic. A little more hop spice on the semi dry finish and a whisper of hop skunk. This is a good IPA and shows what Japan can do, I wish more of their beers would make it over here but given recent rumours of our fuckwit customs making that even harder, seems unlikely. Listen up customs, if you put so much red tape in front of the movement of beer across borders, guess what? People and companies will stop doing it and you will be down on revenue you absolute cretins! Anyway, back on topic, nice IPA!

Can at home, from CW online, 10/12/23. Hazed light orange yellow with a good sized lasting white cap formed of frothy bubbles. Nose is orange zest, yuzu, grass, light pine needle, papaya, mandarin. Taste comprises bitter orange, grapefruit, grass, pine nip, ripe melon, guava. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come lightly resinous hop bitterness. Pleasant, flavoursome and well balanced IPA.

Appearance is milky soupy yellow, with a small clingy white head. Aroma is pineapple, mango, passionfruit, hoppy fruity peach. Taste is juicy fruit, milky lactose, thick hoppy fruity notes, pineapple, orange peel, mango, peach, tropical fruit juice.

Can online from Cloudwater. Pours thick murky straw with a fine white foam. Aroma: Stone fruits, tropical fruits. Taste: moderate sweet with moderate hop bitterness, juicy, light sharp, citrus, pineapple, grapefruit. Thick, chewy, full bodied, towards dry on the palate. Silky hop milk. Pretty intense.
