Bottle from Biermuda. Smooth malty nose with hints of wood. The beer starts mild with lots of malt there. The whisky is in the back, a bit hidden but Tullamore is not the most distinctive one. Smooth malty aftertaste, hints of a dry coke there, caramel, wood and hints of whisky. Interesting but not too unround, more on the sweetish side.

Two Innis & Gunn samplings in one day, who would have thought it. Stout, check, Irish whiskey barrel, double check, bring it on. A tall, clear glass this time, I determine a Hades black pour completed by a complementary light brown head. Interesting nose, here is toffee and grain. Go to the drink, yeah, well, I have had worse. Malt, grain, woody, a decent finishing bitterness. Really do not find the whiskey. Personally set back by high expectation.

Grunt fill from Albertsons. Dark, near black pour with a foamy beige head, fades to ring. Aroma is sweet and roasty, lacto. Taste too is sugary, milky, minor roast grains and chocolate. Whiskey? Hardly. Barely detectable.

Bottle. Pours opaque dark brown with large spongy beige head, sweetish caramel malt aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter woodsy roasted malt taste, sweetish whisky flavor, smooth body, long finish with faint alcohol aftertaste. Well balanced, easy to drink.
