GBBF Day 3. Cask? Light haze on this gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Thin malts, sweetish. Light floralness. Mild and ripe citrus. Modest hop spice. Light semi dry finish. A bit ripe tasting but fine.

Baseball and beer are probably the best couple ever. That being said, I’m enjoying this watching college football. Pours a cloudy golden color with a thick foam head and lace. Sweet citrus aroma. Bready malt flavor and a cool finish. Quite a tasty beer here.

Hazy yellow with a white head. Lemony sweet aroma with nice light bread malt. Flavor has that lemon sourness without being puckering. Sweet background with a super crispy finish. One of the more flavorful and enjoyable Golden ales I’ve had. Tops. (#2200 completely by accident)

Bottle. Hop Hideout, Sheffield. Murky, grey gold colour. Scum of off white head. A looker it ain’t. Smells good, though. Some pink grapefruit. Melon skin. Some mineral. A little lemon tang. Something like lavender in there, maybe. Taste is light bitter. Soft sweet. Palate is zesty, and fairly crisp. A little of the lemon. Finishes minerally dry, with a short, zesty bitterness. A bit unusual with the tang thing going on, but very chuggable.
