Cask at GBBF Saturday, 13/08/2016. A hazed orange coloured pour with a lasting loose off white head. Aroma is sweet earthy citrus tangerine, peach, wheat. Flavour is composed of semi sweet bready wheaty grains, raw orange zest, peach, grassy citrus. Palate is grainy, medium bodied, good cask condition. Good beer.

Keg at Mother Kelly’s. It pours turbid amber with a small white head. The aroma is big zesty action, fragrant, tangy orange sherbet, marmalade, orange muffin, green grassy hops, light herbal and spring onion notes. The taste is mellow bitterness, grassy hops, zesty orange, perfumed, spicy, tangy marmalade, waxy peel and a touch of soap. Finish is dry and zesty and lingers like a hobo’s fart.

Cask. Sheffield Tap. Opaque, yellow gold. Thin, dense, white head. Nose is super fruity. Citric hop. Orange rind. Some herb. Orange pulp. Taste is light, pulpy bitter. Some dryness. Decent body. Some oiliness. The fruit, at the expense of hop thing comes through, though, for me. Smells great. Tails off a bit after that.

Keg from The Beerhive. Milky golden body with a medium white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of juicy orange, flower petals and pineapple. Flavour of lime, grass and nettles. Medium body with a smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Light fizz. A fruity, hoppy Pale Ale. Really good.
