August 2019: 500 ml bottle, from SPAR Ålbæk. ABV is 7.2%. Hazy brown colour, small off-white head. Aroma of malts, some caramel. hints of over-ripe and decaying fruits. Flavour of malts, some caramel, a little fruit, fairly distinct bittering hops, noticeable alcohol. Not really great.

Aroma: Malt with caramel and yeast. Flavour: Malty sweet with caramel and yeast. Aftertaste is malty sweet. Colour: Amber with an offwhite head.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours golden with a slight haze and an off-white head. Malt and straw in the nose. Rich, malty body, again malt and hay with a bitter finish. A very basic strong Heller Bock. 271219

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, malt, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish.

Sample from 50 cl bottle. Slightly hazy golden colour with a thin white head. Sweet aroma with fruits and an medicinal note. Taste is sweet. Medium bodied. Dry, fruity finish with an unpleasant medicinal note. Poor.

Bottle 500ml. @ home. [ As Ålbæk Ål-Bock ].Clear medium amber orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, sweet malt, caramel, rich malt, dusty, rye. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, malty, bread, dusty, rich malt, rye.
