(Bottle) Brownish red colour with foamy, tan head. Fruity, spicy nose with notes of red-currant, black-currant, blood orange, herbs and hay. Fruity, tart taste with berries, red-currant, black-currant, blood orange, herbs, a touch of chocolate and a tart and dry finish with low bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and refreshing, with a tart berry touch. Nice one.

On tap at Haandgemeng. It pours an unclear readdish colored body under a small off-white head. The aroma is dominated by berries, the blackcurrant doing most of it, but there's also some bready pale malts, a generic fruityness and a good dash of yeast. It's full-bodied, dry and nicely carbonated, with quite a lot of yeast flavor. Blackcurrant, fruityness and some pale malts too in the flavor. Sour berry finish with a faint salty touch. Overall, too much on the yeast side for me. 171027

[ As Poppels Projekt 012 Imperial Saison Röda / Svarta Vinbär 2017 ].Clear medium red colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white - pink head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, fruity yeast, saison yeast, red berries, black currant - red currant. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, fruity yeast, black currant, red berries, red currant, saison yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Bottle sample@Ølfestival København 2018, Copenhagen - pours a hazy dark amber with a reddish hue, topped with a off white pinkish head. Tart fruity notes of berries, with some dried fruity undertones of currant, dates, light funky, hoppy notes, medium bodied, fruity finish.

Bottle KØ18. Mild berry aroma. Cloudy deep dark red colour. Small pink head. The flavour has a good berry note. Also a little plastic, but not burnt. Mild citric finish.
