Can. Deep brown colour with a small off-white head, some slight lace. Aroma is chocolate, caramel, mild nutty tones with some lactose and mild toffee. Flavour is chocolate, some mild syrup, nutty tones with mild lactose and some toasted tones to it. Modern Brown Ale.

Such a pleasant icecream beer, whilst still remaining beery enough. Sweet lactose, bittersweet chocolate and a bit creamy. Also well hopped, with a bit of roast, hints of export stout behind it. Very pleasant, easy drinkable, just a bit thin.

Beaverfest. Keg. Clear brown beer, good pale tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Soft malts, smooth and with a little creamy sweetness. A mild tang. A little powdery chocolate. Rich dark fruits. Dry finish. A rich and sweet beer. Nice.

330ml can. Pours very dark brown, decent creamy beige head. Aroma of milky chocolate, vanilla. Taste is sweet, milk chocolate, vanilla, sugar, caramel, very slight nuttiness and just a hint of some roasted malt, low bitterness. Smooth, medium bodied but on the thin side, fine carbonation. Delicious beer, more of a milk stout I guess, just wish it was a bit thicker and fuller.

Keg at Beaverex '18, day one, 07/09/18. Light black with a decent tan covering. Nose is sweet malts, chocolate, vanilla, sugars. Taste comprises chocolate, lactic nip, bitter sweet, toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid for the style although much more like a stout than a brown.

Mørk brun med høyt beige skum. Lukter nøtter, kaffe og mørk sjokolade. Middels fylde. Smaken er søtlig kandis, lett bitter kaffe og mørk sjokolade. (Beavertown Beerextravaganza 2018)

On keg at Strait and Natrow, Lincoln. Very deep brown colour with a tan head. Light chocolate and lots of coffee in the aroma. Taste sweet. Big full and smooth body.
