Bottle from Beer Republic. Aroma is quite roasty with lots of coffee, roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, some peanut butter, mocha, notes of vanilla, and fudge. Flavour is rather sweet with a pretty firm roasty bitterness. Full body. Bold blast of coffee, potent bittersweet flavour, peanut butter is there, lots of roast. Rich dessert to slowly take in, hardly subtle, pretty in your face. Dependable Prairie richness.

4 December 2022. Merry on the Prairie #2 @ Hal 16. Thanks, Jasper, and cheers to the crew!
A: hazy black, no head.
A: peanut butter on toast, milk chocolate, cappuccino.
T: sour prune & grape (infected?), peanut butter, mild coffee.
F: tart dark fruit, dry peanut, sour coffee bean.
P: medium to full body, slick texture, soft carbonation.
Probably infected along the way; too bad, but still recognisable as a decent Pastry.

Bottle. A- Bell peppers, chilies, nutty, mild cocoa powder. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Earthy, poblanos, cocoa. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly unbalanced finish. O- Lots of peppers in here, probably stemming from the coffee. There is a mild peanut nuttiness, but it doesn't come across as a peanut butter persay.Just too much pepper and vegetable taste and not near enough sweet chocolate and peanut butter. I expect more from Prairie but it seems that the Bomb days are in the past.
