Can at home. Schlenkerla type smoke meets Moersleutel type big dark beer, bacon and cheese meet chocolate. Flavours meet but dont clash, it's very much my cup of tea.

Op tap bij The Scrapyard. Zwarte kleur, bruine kraag. Flink gerookt, kampvuur, turf, aards, zoethout, pure chocolade, gebrand, koffie, rogge, redelijk zoet, vol en dik. Volle body. Heerlijk.

Tap at Tuletorn taproom. Opaque colour and beige head. Strong smokey and tarry aroma. Full-bodied, sticky. Strong tar candy (Tervaleijona) flavour with peaty smoke. Hides ABV well. Unique.

Draught@Tuletorn, Tallinn. Pitch black colour, big creamy brown head. Aroma is tar, some spruce, leather, chocolate and some smoked tones. Flavour is tar, chocolate, spruce shoots and mild burnt wooden tones. Lovely.

Zwart bier met veel stevig schuim. Smaak is bitterzoet en warm met tamelijk veel rook, wat chocolade, vanille en wat karamel. Heeft voor een Porter een vol en romig mondgevoel. Geweldig goed!

440 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with moderate tan head. Aromas of rauchbier type smoke or hickory smoked bacon, dark fruit, and roasted malts. Flavors follow same with lots of additional sweetened dark chocolate. A smoky pastry stout (porter).
