Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Hanscraft & Co. / West Coast Beersmith Rebel Unchained ].Clear dark red brown colour with a average to large, frothy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, chocolate, raspberry, sweet raspberry, tart raspberry, frozen raspberry, light wood. Initial flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet, light light acidic and light to moderate bitter, finish flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet, light light acidic and moderate bitter with a long duration, tart raspberry, wood, roasted, chocolate, sweet chocolate, light milk chocolate - milky, finish is roasted - burnt bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20181102] 7-4-7-3-14

Bottled. A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of cherry chocolate and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, roasted malt, and cherries, leading to a dry finish.

Sample from 33 cl bottle. Pitch black with a thin tanned head. Sweet aroma with raspberries, roasted notes, caramel malts, coffee and subtle liqourice. Taste is light sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes sweet roasted with raspberries and dark malts. Okay, apart from the lame name...

Bottle@Lars place - black pour with beige head. Roasted and sweet malty with notes of milky chocolate, some caramel, notes of raspberry coming in, medium body, chocolate milky vanilla and raspberry coming together into the close.

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy dark brown to black. Small brown head. Aroma is fruity. Deep roasted malt. Raspberry. Sweet. Roasted. Dense raspberry fruity. Bitter and lingering roasted malt finish.

“Hanscraft Rebel unchained“, vom Faß im Doldenmädel, Berlin. - Mächtiger dunkelbeigefarbener Schaum bedeckt das ebenfalls dunkle Bier - Genaueres läßt sich in der Finsternis des “Braugasthauses“ (das gar nicht braut) nicht ausmachen. - Interessante, schön tiefe und komplexe Nase mit Bitterschokolade, milder Himbeere, moosiger Herbe und ganz zarter Kondensmilch-Note. - Antrunk angenehm weich und mild dunkelmalzig mit runder Bitterschokolade und erfrischender, zart süßsaurer Fruchtnote, ein wenig Himbeere. Erinnert an Schokolade mit Himbeerfüllung. Mild rezent, kremig. Im Abgang kräftigere Bitterschokolade, Mokka, ganz zarte Joghurtsäure. Im Nachtrunk trockener Kakao. - Angenehmes, tiefes und doch rundes Bier mit erfrischender Fruchtigkeit und nur ganz dezenten Noten von Milch und Joghurt.

17-11-17 // at 3. Mainzer CraftBeerMesse. Dark brown. Small beige head. Sone lacte sweetness aling some roasted malts. Minimal raspberry fruit, medium carbonation. Not too stouty.
