330ml can from Vinmonopolet Nettbutikk. Shared with Finn. A firm beige head over a next-to-clear mahogany coloured body. Upper part lacing. Dark doughy smell, nutty. Mixed taste of caramel malts, nuts, and dried fruits. Bittersweet end, slightly spiced. Fine depth. Pretty good. (Bergstua, Malangen 18.06.2020).

Can. Slightly unclear brown body with a tan/pale beige head. Aroma has caramel malt, mild toast and citric/grape fruit. Unusually combination in a brown ale, but it works out fine for me. Taste is sweet, fruity and bitter. Malt, toffee, toast, grapefruit and pleasant bitterness. Fine body and nice aftertaste with a god bitter end. This was a fun and untraditional interpretation of a brown ale, I like it.

Keg at Brewdog Tower Hill, London. A murky dark brown coloured pour with a medium off white head on top. Hoppy, malty, caramel, spice aroma. Tastes hoppy, malty, caramel, spice and some grapefruit in there too. Quite interesting but not one I'd return to.

Keg at BD Sheps Boost, 22/10/18. Murky brown with a decent beige covering. Nose is charr, roast malts, toffee, light spice, dusty fruits. Taste comprises cocoa powder, light pine, bourbon biscuits, brown bread, light spice level. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with dusty hop bitterness. Ok offering ... would have had as a CDA if blind tasting.
