Keg at BrewDog Leicester. Murky light to mid-brown with a creamy ring of head and a fair bit of lacing. Sweet nutty aroma with some spruce and toffee. There's a sweetness to the taste that's drowned out by a hoppy bitterness. Long finish with only a touch of the advertised chilli warming me on the way down. Ambitious little beer that really works for me.

On tap at Brewdog Oxford, Cowley Rd, Oxford, Saturday 20th October 2018 on Ritual Union (all day multi venue music festival day) in the company of John, Barry, Lorne, Kevin and Kate. Pours a murky, dirty puddle brown. It's no looker but it tastes good, brown ale never really does it for me so to see it given a hoppy IPA boost is a winner. Fruity and hoppy with a little light peppery spice, a touch of chilli, and lots of grapefruit. Good. A7 A3 T8 P4 Ov15 3.7

On tap at BrewDog Soho Collabfest 2018. Murky brown red colour thin beige head. Zesty brown ale. Good grapefruit zest flavour. Lively. Woke the palate up. A third is about enough. Fun whilst it was here. Pink grapefruit finish. A cross of brown ale and pink grapefruit ipa. Fine.
