26/11/2025. Cask (Tap Room) at The Dove Street Inn Winter Beer Festival, 2025. Light hazy pour. Nice citrusy, orange, grassy, touch herbal aroma. Medium sweet, light bitterness and tartness. Average carbonation. Nicely done. Good for its abv.

Straw coloured with a bubbly/frothy white head and a fruity aroma. Light bodied, very easy drinking with light biscuit malt and fruity notes and a slightly bitter finish, the sort of session ale you could knock back all afternoon in the sunshine (I was drinking it in a cellar!)

Cask at the Shaking Hand, Shirley. Poured a slightly hazy straw colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, tropical citrus. The flavour is moderate to light bitter and sweet, with a smooth, yeasty, barnyard, light citrus, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 29th August 2020. Gold with shallow foam and scant lacing. Mildly zesty aroma with biscuit malt. A fruity blend of berries and apricots in-mouth, and a fruity, cheesecake finish. Smooth mouthfeel and plenty of body.

Too bitter for the style, the hop combo isn’t that nice, the beer is mediocre, and not even close to american versions. TheBrink Manchester
