4oz pour at Ballard location. Pours very murky brown with off-white head. Aroma has bourbon and dark brown sugar. Flavour has a ton of bourbon, brown sugar, caramel. A bit unrefined but still very enjoyable.

Dark brown, little reddish accent. No head. Deep fruit and sticky date-like malt. An English flavour profile but with American heft. Good barley wine.

On tap at Old Stove - Ballard, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige bead. Aroma is somewhat harsh, with plenty of bourbon character, some earthy heartiness, and toasted caramel. Flavour is better, with rich caramel, plenty of bourbon, and sugars. Palate is rather sludgy, despite the nice flavour profile. A bit harsh and clumsy but the barrels do impart a nice character. Decent.

4 oz draft. A woman flavor or a match. Vanilla, toffee, raisins, and dates. The booze is here but not overwhelming. Some warming after the sip. Nice array of flavor. nice!!
