Curiosité est un assemblage de Stout affiné pour une moyenne de 25 mois en fût de bourbon Henry Mckenna et Willett. C’est clairement l’un des meilleurs Imperial Stout que nous avons assemblé ! C'est la jonction entre intensité et délicatesse. Vous y trouverez des nuances et arômes de bourbon, de chocolat avec une bonne présence du bois. La texture de ce stout est riche et épaisse mais bien équilibrée. Nous avons cherché à créer une bière équilibrée et gourmande.

Aroma: American oak, bold, molasses.
Taste: along the same lines, another liquid American oak bomb, moderately sweet.
Overall: pleasant.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a dark brown foamy head with some retention and some lacing notes. Aroma of chocolate notes with some strong woody bourbon notes and light vanilla. Taste is also a mix of chocolate notes with some vanilla notes with some strong bourbon and vanilla notes, some cocoa and a dry finale. Body is pretty full with an oily texture and good carbonation with some discernible alcohol notes. Nice woody bourbon stout with a nice oily texture.

A deep dark stout with a very thin brown head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with dark fruits, coconut cream, vanilla, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with chocolate malt with, fruity esters, vanilla, coconut cream, very nice and rich. On tap at De la Gappe location
