Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a dark brown foamy head with some retention and some light lacing notes. Aroma of chocolate notes with some strong woody bourbon notes and vanilla with some floral coffee and coconut notes also noticeable. Taste is also a mix of chocolate notes with some strong woody notes and vanilla notes and with some bourbon and floral coffee and coconut notes. Body is pretty full with good carbonation with some discernible alcohol notes. Solid pastry BA stout with great quality bourbon notes and good balance of flavors.

Enjoyed at the Hull brewpub, pouring a dark brown, kind of black colour without any highlights. Cannot get much head with the swirling, nor lacing. Roasted malt base with nuttiness, chocolate and a touch of Bourbon with raisin notes. Good coconut flavours over the rest of the nose just mentioned. Some molasses, licorice do blend well on top of this. A slick, oily mouthfeel with decent dryness and a little tart left on the tongue. Overall, a nice Imperial Sweet Stout with lots going on, and all nicely balanced.

Black colour, no head. Aroma of chocolate and hazelnuts. The mouthfeel is very thick, it's sweet, liquid choxolate, with creamy coconut, spirit, vanilla, and a touch of coffee; warming. Excellent, although, as usual for the brewery, it's viscous and oily.

375ml (thx, Alex G.!) @ Alex's garage during the kid's movie night. Appearance: pourslike oil, very dark brown with no head. Aroma: sweet, a lot of chocolate, some American oak, (over)toasted coconut (like in most of the Structure stouts), some coffee. Taste: along the same lines, very thick and sweet, lots of chocolate, American oak, loads of quite nice toasted coconut, nicely integrated coffee. Overall: very nice.
