16oz (thx, Jonathan M.!) shared with George and wife in White Cliff Park. Appearance: murky golden with a white head. Aroma: super juicy, tropical fruits. Taste: along the same lines, juicy, fruity, low bitterness. Overall: very good, especially for the pale ale.

A hazed milky yellow ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light dank notes, pleasant. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp light tropical fruits, very nice. On tap at Hautes Plaines location.

Lightly hazy, golden colour with an amber hue. The bubbly white head disappears rather quickly, leaving not much. Aromas of spicy malts and citrus hop notes. The taste blends the citrusy hops, straw malts with a touch of caramel. Some little bite, snappy lemon zest. Fairly dry, tarty. Not a bad hazy APA with lots of Citra action.

Poured from 473mL can (thanks Derek & JF; canned 31/08/2022). Cloudy yellow with small white head. Citrus hops, hop burn, and chalk. A bit harsh, not a drain pour, but just okay.

473mL can, pours a very ugly, opaque milky yellow with a small white head. Aroma is full of hopburn -- damn that's way too green -- with plenty of chalk and yeast soup; whatever hop character there is is buried beneath that burn. Flavour is filthy as fuck, with loads of chalk, lots of hopburn, and dirty yeast soup. Ugh, that's not pleasant. I guess there are more egregious examples of these chalky IPAs, but this is pretty bad. More nonsense hazy BS.

Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a large size foamy head with good retention and good amount of lacing. Aroma of citrusy hops notes with light tropical notes and juicy undertones. Taste is also a mix of citrusy hops notes with some juicy hops undertones with dry leafy hops finish.. Body is full for style with good carbonation. Solid pale ale with great juicy hoppy notes.

(473ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours very hazy bright yellow with a decent white head and lace. Aroma of mango powder candy, passionfruit, grapefruit and tart orange, citrus peels, dank slightly funky overripe fruit. Flavour is pretty dry, guava and semi-ripe mango, passionfruit without acidity, pale citrus pith, a little orange flesh as it warms, soft crackery malt, neutral yeast, dry finish with a light peppery hop spice. Light to medium bodied, creamy, fizzing carbonation. Solid APA, a little too crispy still when cold but with just a touch of warmth it rounds out nicely. Good stuff for the ABV.
