473ml can. Hazy, yellow-ish, bright golden colour with average, thick, dense, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Intense and complex, juicy, tropical and citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, sweet-ish, oaty and slightly wheaty malty background, notes of mango, lemon, orange, kiwi fruit, gooseberry, a touch of white grapes, some grassy and mineral aspects. Taste is bitter, juicy, tropical and citrusy fruity hoppy, some fruit acidic tartness, oaty and wheaty malty basis with some residual sweetness, notes of orange, orange peel, kiwi fruit, gooseberry, white grapes, some lemon, minimally grassy and mineral overtones; citrusy finish with more pronounced lemon notes (lemon peel, limoncello) and minimal increase of the mineral aspects. Creamy and slightly oily texture, minimally dry (with minimally papery and powdery aspects probably due to the Cryo hop partition), simultaneously minimally greasy palate, medium to fine, dense, mildly prickly carbonation. Harmonious and balanced, highly drinkable - good. Maybe a cliché, but the water used here must have been of excellent quality. I don't have this impression for the first time concerning Canadian beers, just like Dutch Pale Ales often seem to be afflicted with hard water.

(473ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours near-opaque orange-gold with a thick eggshell head that has excellent retention and lace. Aroma is quite dank with heavy cannabis up front, green mango, lime zest and pulp, Five Alive citrus juice, . Flavour is off-dry up front, again lots of green mango and lime, pale green-skinned Asian orange juice, touch of grapefruit, lots of leafy dank cannabis, floral undertones, soft bready malt, some moderately fruity round yeast, drying out in the finish with lots of citrus zest, lightly pithy, soft citrus bitters and cannabis, lightly peppery hop burn in the aftertaste. Medium-bodied, slick, quite softly carbonated. Azacca and Motueka really show their hand despite all the Citra, shifting the character of the beer but in a pleasant way. Nice one.

Murky blond colour. The aroma is superdank, followed by a citrusy and tropical note. Dry mouthfeel; lett chalky than other Ba-Canada IPAs, so the hop can really shine, starting with bitter orange, then dank hops; pleasant hopburn. Excellent.

Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy pale yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of huge citrusy hoppy notes with some huge floral hops undertones and some more citrus notes. Taste is also a good mix of citrusy hoppy notes with some juicy citrus hops notes and juicy floral undertones with a remarkably dry finish. Body is full with good carbonation. A full load of Citra hops in this NEIPA.

Hazy golden-yellow colour with a nice creamy, warm-white cap, good retention and some good thick foamy lacing left. The aromas are a nice mix of citrus (orange juice, grapefruit zest), soft oat-biscuit malt combo, light alcohol and hints of tropical fruits. The mouthfeel is juicy, smooth with a little zestiness in the finish and a tad dryness. The taste is all well-blended with the citrusy notes, some herbal hoppiness and a little more of the straw malts showing in this IPA, from this brewery.

A hazed milky yellow ale with a thick frothy creamy off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, very nice and classic. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, very nice. On tap at La Gappe location.
