Nous pouvons vous annoncer que jeudi nous aurons des canettes disponibles de Hermanos, notre excellente Pilsner italienne. Qu'est-ce qu'une Pilsner italienne ? En gros, cela se veut un style inventé et popularisé par la brasserie italienne Birrificio Italiano qui fut la première à utiliser le procédé d’houblonnage à cru pour une Pils. Hermanos se veut un hommage à cette tradition récente en utilisant les houblons Saphir et Hallertau Mittelfruh au brassage et en houblonnage à cru. Le résultat est une Pils avec des notes très aromatiques de fleurs et d'herbes séchées.

Arômes floraux et herbacés de houblon.
Fond malté aux légers accents de pain.
Olfactif mettant bien en valeur le dry-hop de houblons nobles.
Liquide doré clair et partiellement voilé.
Mousse effervescente qui ne tient pas.
Entrée de bouche légèrement maltée qui se décline en finale très houblonnée par la suite.
Environnement gustatif puissamment floral avec quelques esters rajoutant un peu de complexité.
Notes herbacées douces, base maltée subtilement miellée et boulangère.
Amertume moyennement douce.
Corps un peu rondelet.
Carbonatation moyennement piquante.
Des houblons puissants et floraux rendent cette Pils tout à fait originale.

A golden pils with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, nice crisp biscuit malt with resinous hops, herbal character, pleasant and smooth. In mouth, a nice crisp biscuit malt with grassy German hops, light mineral notes, pleasant and crisp. On tap at Hautes Plaines location.

Really enjoying this style, popularized this summer 2022 around here. Clean, golden colour with a frothy white cap, good retention and some foamy lacing. Straw malt, hints of pears and lots of drying hops giving herbal notes. The mouthfeel is heading on the dry side, but not overly. You still get the cereal grains, some spiciness blended with the herbal hops. All going down nicely. Refreshing, crisp and well-balanced hops with that spicy touch.

Can: Poured a clear golden color pils with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of cereal notes with light herbal notes and some light residual sugar notes. Taste is also a mix of clean cereal notes with light herbal notes and some floral notes with more residual sugar than I was expecting. Body is about average with good carbonation. Enjoyable pilsner but sweeter than I was expecting.
