Very big thanks to Erzengel for sharing!! Beer in the glass dark brown, small head. Roasty malty aroma. Starts mild, malty, modest dry. Some roasty notes as well. Hints of dried fruits. Well balanced finish. Nice!

Many thanks for this beer to Erzengel. Pours a clear brown color with a creamy tan head. The aroma picked up sweet, roasted cocoa and other black malts with accents of vanill
33cl bottle. A clear reddish brown beer with a beige lacing. Aroma of strong dark reddish malt, caramel, raisins. Taste of raisins, caramel, mid sweet dark malt.

County #200. Thousand thanks to Grumbo! Smooth bittered beginning. Easy to drink, malty with sweetish parts. Nice fruity, dried raisins, fruity plums. Slightly sweetish and grainy finish, not much bitterness. Very nice!

Sample thanks to Grumbo, shared with Blackhaddock after cycling 15 miles to his via the Wrekin. Very dark brown pour, unclear with some sediment visible. Off-white bubbles atop. Aroma brings a curious sweetness, caramel, molasses perhaps? Continues to taste, with some light coffee and liquorice emerging alongside grainy dark malt. Not bad at all.

Five beer mini tasting at my place, with minutemat on 10th July 2020. This was the real reason Mat and I had the tasting, my 141st different country rate. Cheers Grumbo for the sample and thanks Mat for sharing it. Beige head on a dark brown body. A little coffee in the nose and taste for me, malty and a whole lot better than I expected.

Sweet-ish dark malty and fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of red and blue berries, some raspberry, some blueberry, a leafy touch, hints of dark chocolate. Taste is sweet-ish dark malty and fruity hoppy, notes of red and blue berries, raspberry and bueberry, hints of dark chocolate, leafy overtones. Very nice.

Sample from Grumbo, cheers Graham! Brown colour, short-lived biege foam head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of malt, fruity, with milk chocolate hints. Taste is sweetish malty, some chocolate, toffee & liquorice, with earthy nutty light bitterness. Smooth-ish mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi-dry nutty finish. Quite drinkable.
