Can from Lidl. Lightly hazed deep amber colour with a thick beige head. Caramel flavour with a lot of dusty, earthy grubbiness. Just a little stewed fruit behind the filth. Given the cheap price, it's presumably brewed on a low budget, and it shows. It's not great, but it is drinkable, and on the plus side it is a new brewer and a rare West Glamorgan rate for me.

[33cl can from Lidl, Crowthorne.] A murky amber pour with a sparse white head; caramel aroma; fruity malt caramel taste with a touch of spice; and an earthy finish. Unattractive and disappointing.

Tight beige head left a creamy top on a reddish brown body. Pepper, red berries & spiced aroma. Medium bodied, smooth & tingly on the back. Caramel, malt, toffee & roasted tastes with a nicely hopped finish of red berries, pine & pepper. Decent stuff from the Lidl Craft Beer Fest at a rock bottom price.

(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm, 24 Sep 2019) Dark amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty nose with notes of toffee, caramel, orange peel and black-currant. Malty taste with caramel, toffee, orange peel, black-currant and a mild citric bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty, but on the mild side. Quite enjoyable.

24th Aug 2018; gravity poured half-pint at the 22nd Codsall Station Beer Festival. Amber body, wispy head. Malts in the nose and taste, semi-sweet with not a lot of hop action going on. My sweet tooth enjoyed it.
