2028 vintage. Pour a bright mahogany color with light head. Aromas of dry toffee, raisins, oak and toasted malts. Flavors of same. Clean. Very good.

(Bottle) Reddish amber colour with brief, beige head. Malty nose with notes of caramel, dried fruit, wood, hazelnuts, apricot marmalade, orange peel and a touch of cinnamon. Malty, sweet taste with caramel, dried fruit, dates, apricot marmalade, hazelnuts, orange peel, honey, oak wood, hints of brandy, a touch of cold coffee and a mild spicy bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, sweet. Tasty, elegant and harmonious with a good nutty wood character. Great beer.

Bottled@PBF XII. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is peated, toffee, wood, vanilla and ripe fruits. Flavour is toffee, fruity, wooden, mild toasted notes with milf alcohol and spiciness too.

Bottle@Lennart's Summer Tasting, Malmö (30/06/2018) - dark amber to brown coloured pour with a nice beige head. Medium sweet malty with rich toffee and caramel sweetness, light singed brown sugar, deep dried fruity notes abound, full bodied, resonating sherry soaked wooden notes, complex spices into the sweet warming malty close. Beautiful.

Flaska från SB. Årgång 2016. Tack Samuel214. Relativt klar, bärnstensfärgad/kopparröd med smutsvit krona. I doft och smak blommiga toner, honung, blomnektar och en något parfymig ton tillsammans med sockersötma som från rörsocker. Snäll fatton.

Flaska från SB. Årgång 2016. Relativt klar, bärnstensfärgad/kopparröd med smutsvit krona. I doft och smak blommiga toner, honung, blomnektar, rosenvatten och en något parfymig ton tillsammans med sockersötma som från rörsocker. Liksom de två tidigare fatlagringarna är det en väldigt snäll fatton. Tycker barley wine överlag kan gifta sig väldigt fin med Sherry och liknande fat, men här saknar jag smaken. Inte riktigt vad jag förväntat mig.

[ As Nynäshamns Bötet Barley Wine Oloroso ].Clear medium amber orange colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, caramel, sweet malt, rich malt, light dried fruit - plumes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, dried fruit, figs, plumes, bread, rich malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20180707] 7-3-8-4-16
