Things are never entirely as they seem. We’ve double-downed on flavour for this double dry-hopped IPA and brewed with orange, Amarillo and Azacca hops for a sweet citrusy vibe. A DIPA that’ll make you double take.

Can. Pours hazy straw with airy white head. Clear aroma of fruit and malt, with estery and citric touches. Bitter, hoppy and citric flavour with round, sweet notes of fruit and malty and estery touches. Malty and estery aftertaste with bitter notes. A nice DIPA: quite sweet but still citric enough.

Can, 8.1%. Weak fruity and papery aroma with a hint of alcohol. Hazy dark golden colour. Small frothy white head. The flavour starts off slightly sweet and nicely spicy with a touch of vanilla. Later comes fruit, citrus and a nice alcohol touch. I do not taste the orange as such, but I am sure they give part of the citrus flavour. Low carbonation and good mouthfeel.

From a 440ml can on 14/9/2019. Pours a slightly hazy medium golden with not much head. The nose is quite pronounced and dominated by citrus fruit. The flavour follows suit - lots of sweet orange followed by a distinct, tangy blood orange bitterness. Medium to full bodied, with a slightly slick palate and average carbonation. Reasonably straight forward, but quite bold and pretty tasty.

Can split at L6, thanks to Kenny, 17/04/19. Almost clear golden blonde with a decent off white covering. Nose is grass, pine, grapefruit, melon, orange peel. Taste comprises pineapple, grass, grapefruit, ripe melon, sweet malts, hint of minerality. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with balanced hop bitterness. Ok DIPA if stuck a little between 3rd and 4th gear.

On tap at Druggists, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is rather sweaty, with an earthy hop character and bready backbone. Flavour is similar, with a very earthy hop character and bready malt backbone. Not much vibrancy in the hops. Needs work; or it's old.

Can shared in London - cheers to Ken. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. Pithy and flinty, lots of mineral dryness, citrus peel. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Bitter finish, grassy and flinty. So so overall.

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen - golden light hazy pour with a white head. Sweet fruity and malty with some caramel malty backing, grapefruit, tangerine, medium body, quite a bozzy edge into the hoppy finish.

Fat Taphouse. Guldfärgad klar Dipa. Doftar och smakar söta aprikoser, söt apelsin. Lågt kolsyrad med små bubblor som far runt i gommen och lyfter ölens kvaliteer👍. Mjuk beska. Medelfyllig bra Dipa. Varför inte högre betyg? Jo lite väl söt och mer ich komplexitet behövs. Men god Dipa
