Originally rated July 2005. Sampled from their brown bottles, and not from their aluminium bottles. Pours a yellow colour with a foamy head, and decent lasting too. Carbonation is very active, but no lacing. The nose is slightly malty, but mostly composed of alcohol. Almost, mild malt liquor scent. Little bitterness in the start, but goes to a heavy corn finish. The guarana fruit is hardly tasted anywhere. Maybe a very tiny small note in the late aftertaste. Because of that, not really a fruit beer. It’s direct competition is on the other hand is. Rare do I prefer a Labatt product over Molson, but Shok is better. This Molson Kick is recommended to regular Molson beer drinkers, but at the beginning of the night.

Yellow fizzy crap with no head. Sweet cream soda aroma. Metallic corn adjunct with herbal vodka in mouth. Thin and crappy.

2005 bottle at Mondial, 6/4/2005. Red raspberry-tinged orange-copper body. Fizzy and has an off-white head that quickly dissipates to nothing. Aroma of plastic, raspberry jam (sugary and fake), caramel, umm sugar. Flavor is VERY sweet and syrupy, with raspberries and plasticy notes. Sickly sugary, cloying and difficult to drink. Might as well just throw this crap in with alcopops and be rid of it. Though to be fair, I did think this one was a bit better than B to the E. I’m pretty excited to try Shock! Medium body, heavily overcarbonated. Molson mixed with redbull mixed with a boatload of sugar and fake raspberry syrup.

Bland golden colour. Tastes like mineral water...not much guarana or anything else. Empty, baking soda notes. Huh? What was the point again? Oh yeah, to make people more awake when drunk so they think they are okay to drive. Repugnant both in flavour and morality.
