Cloudy, dull amber. Slightly phenolic, earthy nose. Crisp, earthy flavour. Very organic tasting...that is to say a little bland. Dry finish with hints of mushroom.

Copper coloured body with strong orange highlights and a very thin slightly off-white head. Aroma of fresh hops, not too high in a.a. though, still nice. Medium-bodied; Strong hoppy flavour coupled with subtle malt and a apricot flavour. Aftertaste shows some of the hops, a bit of a metallic twang and all finished by some alcohol. Overall, a decent beer - not enough hops, and a bit too much malt for me...but good to try. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased at Oliver’s Beverage in Albany, New York on 01-December-2007.

A king of mediocre IPA, that is probably not an IPA at all judging by the alcohol content. Nothing really special, standard hoppiness and fruitiness, but overall just bland. Seems that the main appeal of this beer is the fact that it is organic, but who really cares. Most micros are probably mostly organic anyway. Bottle I had said that the abv was 5.6 though.

Oh, this is different than the Common ale?? You could have fooled me. Maybe it had someting to do with the fact that there is zero malt in these beers and a uniformly nasty, stale, dirty hop flavor with lingering metallic flavors. Good lord, these were awful, even for MH bottled standards.
