Pours hazy pale yellow with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, pear, yeast, wheat and hint of banana. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with a long pear, yeasty, wheat and banana finish. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

From tap. Pours hazy pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma is sourish and slight fruity. Dry, citric and light fruity. Herbal and estery, yeasty and citric finish.

Bottle, 4.5% at KØ16. Mild lactic aroma. Cloudy very pale colour. Small creamy white head. The flavour is mildly citric with a dry and watery finish. Isotonic but thin-bodied.

Fra fad på Kølsters tolv haner: lys korngul med ok skum. Iflg tavlen er dette en syrlig hvedeøl, og syrligheden er der - men ud over det synes jeg den mangler den typiske hvedeølkarakter i form af blødhed, banan og nellik. I stedet finder jeg gule æbler og rips. Limonadeaktig og let.
