Bold intense medium sweet fruity and malty with a nice citrusy grapefruit and lemon edge, some passion fruit, green herbaceous and floral hoppy throughout, creamy sweet malty support, balanced bitter hoppy finish. Lovely.

Hazy golden-orange colour with a big frothy-creamy head, very good retention and some nice creamy-bubbly lacing. Over the typical citrus and spicy-herbal hops in the aromas, you get this interesting nuttiness. It does resemble to roasted sesame seeds with its touch of oiliness. The fruitiness comes out more in the taste with loads of oranges, some clementines and a bunch of citrus peel creating decent bitterness, then dryness in the end. Still, quite highly refreshing, slick and slightly oily. Some of that spicy hoppiness appears as well in the mouth. This Riwaka is quite an interesting hops that adds a lot to these great juicy, fruity DIPAs.

(473ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours near-opaque orange-gold with a dense white head that fades slowly leaving heavy lace. Aroma is typically earthy-dank and fruity Riwaka, with grapefruit peel and pulp, some sweet orange and a kiss of lime, underlying sweet mango and peach and a little nuttyness (sesame? peanut?). Flavour is lightly sweet up front, papaya and mango, creamy, splashed with orange and grapefruit zest, soft plush biscuit malt, earthy nuttiness, soft forest-like dank touches, semi-drying finish with peach, orange/grapefruit zest and oil, pith, nutty earthiness, soft peppery cannabis into the aftertaste. Medium-plus body, oily to creamy, soft carbonation. Yeah that's definitely Riwaka...beast of a hop but fun to drink as well. Solid if not massive DIPA from BdBC.

A hazed milky yellow DIPA with a thin frothy lacing white. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light dank notes, light tropical fruits, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, green hops, light cereal, alcohol warmth, tropical fruit, very nice. On tap at Hautes Plaines location.

Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hops notes with some tropical notes. Taste is a mix of citrusy hops notes with some huge dank floral hops undertones, some tropical and passion fruit notes with some residual sugar notes. Body is full with good carbonation. Well brewed NEIPA with nice hop undertones and passion fruit/tropical notes.
