Poured from 500mL bottle (thanks beerplace). Black with small beige head. Coconut, vanilla, not too over the top, but there's also an underlying chocolate fruitiness on the taste. Decent, but could be more cohesive.

500mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is extremely rich, with lots of exquisite bourbon barrels, followed by vanilla and then by coconut. Flavour is extremely intense, with tons of bourbon barrels upfront, followed by alcohol, vanilla and a touch of coconut. Boozy but nicely expressive of the bourbon barrels. Brutal, as with pretty much all BA Rat Queens, but the flavours are all nice. If only the integration was a bit better. Still, this is very nice.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a medium dark brown foamy head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of vanilla and coconut with some fudge notes and bourbon notes. Taste is a mix of coconut and vanilla, some fudge notes with some bourbon. Body is full with good carbonation with some light warming alcohol notes. Solid imperial stout with some pastry notes but well balanced overall.

(500ml bottle from 4th and 7, Toronto) Pours very dark brown with a small medium tan head without lace. Aroma of rich vanilla-spiked bourbon and toasted coconut, sweet dark chocolate and molasses, dark caramel too, some deep wood and earthy char notes as well, definitely a barrel-and-vanilla dominant nose. Flavour is sweet and liqueur-like up front, layers of burnt sugars and toffee, some molasses, heavy bourbon, lots of toasted coconut, quite some floral vanilla especially mid-sip onwards, semi-sweet chocolate which again builds later in the sip, drying wood and layers of roast/char and earthy cacao help to dry down the sugary initial attack. Some alcohol warmth into the finish and aftertaste. Medium-full body, oily, softly carbonated. I love coconut and this was a pastry-adjacent stout that used it well and blended it with strong bourbon characteristics. Would love a slightly thicker mouthfeel for this much barrel and a bit less heat, but time to dampen that would come at a cost to the adjuncts.
