strong dark mild. Very dark. Smooth, sweet and smoky. Contains five dark malts to give depth. Very drinkable & very dangerous! ABV 6%.

A record four times winner, Watford Beer Festival and now a medal from Hertfordshire Beer of the Year 2018. Sometimes called "watford winter warmer" of you happen to be that way and it's chilly!

Cask at GBBF. It pours dark brown with a small beige head. The aroma is sweet, oily, chocolate, rocky road, toasty, earthy roast and damp wood. The taste is slick, sweet, sticky, chocolate cake, earthy roast, toasty grain, toffee crisp and light spice with a drying finish.. Medium body, fine carbonation and oily mouth feel. Decent chocolate vibes.

Cask at The Hop & Vine, Ruislip. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a thin off white head on top. Rich, caramel, chocolate aroma. Tastes really smooth, rich, slightly sweet, caramel and chocolate, slightly boozy. Best I’ve had from Paradigm.

On cask at The Rising Sun, Berkhamsted. Smooth and round malty beginning. Easy to drink, nuts, caramel, smooth and round. The body is smooth, not much bitterness, caramel, hops, nice and round with nuts and not too sweet caramel in the aftertaste. Nice!
