My third beer is (what a surprise!, Another!) IPA.

The medley of four hops gives piney and resinous aromas, with hints of tropical and citrus fruit. There is malty complexity with flavours of bread and hints of caramel and toffee on the palette. Itโ€™s full bodied yet refreshing, with a residual sweetness and a moreish bitterness.

Loose white head on an amber coloured body.
Malt, paper & pine aroma.
Medium to thin bodied, well carbonated with a sticky back.
Malt, Digestive biscuits, cereal & resinous tastes with a bitter finish.
Probably a great IPA with a pub Sunday Roast.

Can shared with Eirik A. at X-mas beer brewing at MB2 25.10.24. Cloudy orange golden. Diminishing white head. Decent aroma and taste if dried apricot and papaya. Also pale malt and marmalade.

On tap at CBC, Covent Garden on 10th May 2024. Clear gold with shallow, lasting foam and spot lacing. Tangy citrus aroma. Rich and intense citrus tang in-mouth and a pithy, fruity finish. Medium bodied with a zingy mouthfeel. Exquisite.

Can ordered from Hoppily. Aroma of stone fruit, with a resinous streak. But you have to strain for it. I misread the cab and thought it said 'Amber IPA, which it is. Foamy white head. Light bitter. A tad venous, citrus edge. Generally quinine effect. All very low key. Underlying damp malts. Light bodied. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long finish, a tad dry. Uninspiring. Bland.
