13/4/2024. From BIAB at the 11th Isle of Man Beer & Cider Festival. Pours very slightly hazy golden amber with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is semi-sweet apples, caramel, baked apple, a light funky musty barnyard notes. Medium sweet, with a nice zingy tart edge. Medium body, light carbonation. Drying tannic finish. Very likeable.

500ml bottle. Slightly hazy orange-yellow gold colour, no head and juicy apple aroma. Taste is sweet, juicy apple, some mellow woody funk and just alittle biscuit. Medium bodied, low carbonation, short drying finish. Quite OK.

500ml bottle from Beer Revolution, Hay on Wye. Pours hazy orange. Aroma is lightly sweet fresh apple orchard. Taste is farmhouse smooth with lightly sweet apple juice before an expedient drying finish. Like Fin says, it is moreish mainly because you find yourself wanting to get more of that juiciness before it quickly disappears. Good stuff.

Bottle that I picked up at Oakchurch, Staunton-on-Wye, Herefordshire consumed 09.02.11 Pours warm gold almost an Irn Bru tinge of colour to this but lacking the carbonation of that beverage, there is a tiny bit of haze, otherwise excellent looker. Really juicy sweet apples, easy drinking, sweet admittedly but very moreish, I could have happily sunk a few of these. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6
