Vintage bottle from the Master of Malt Bargain Bin. It pours is clear golden - amber with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, doughy bread, honey cake, honeydew melon, pear, apple and sponge cake. The taste is smooth, bitter - sweet, big hit of melon medley, poached pear, apple, tinned fruit cocktail, hearty malt character, honeyed grain, rustic bread loaf, sponge cake, touch of spice and a kick of booze with a smooth melon cake finish. Medium - fulsome body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Perhaps a touch sweet. A hearty number.

Bottle. Master of Malt. Hazed pale bronze. A few floaters. Very decent off white head is lasting and almost fully lacing. Nose has fruited tea loaf. Touch of vanilla. Victoria sponge cake. Taste is bready sweet. Some bitterness. Rich and silky on the palate. Soft carbonation. Lingering leafy bitterness to finish. Mega tasty, but overall a bit chewy.

Lots of foam sitting atop a clear light gold liquid.
Smells of hop perfume if that makes any sense. Fruitiness here is of the dark pitted kind. The sweet notes I get are chocolate like.
Fruity and chocolate taste, yeasty, I like the hop variety used but to me, the beer lacks vibrancy. Muted, if you will. Not bad but not worth $15.

Draft pour at Savor: An American Craft Beer & Food Experience 2017. Poured a golden yellow color. Aroma is that unmistakable funky tripel/belgo character. Mellow, light straw flavor, light dusty yeast notes and a touch of sweet grains in this one. Pretty refreshing.

Sampled from the tap at Happy Gnome. Pours a clear deep amber with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has dark fruits, sweet grains, Belgian yeast and a bit of toffee underlying. Flavor has lots of sweet grains, dark fruits and Belgian yeast with some banana underlying.

Tap at The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours hazy orange tinged gold with a whitish head. Aroma is Belgian yeast/banana/spice. Tripel! Full bodied. Flavor is clove, banana, yeast. And a malt background. If youβre into clove/banana/yeast (which I am), this has to be a great choice.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a muted amber with light head. Aromas and flavors of earthy Belgian yeast, dark esters, dried banana, spice/cloves, and wet malts. Maybe more of a Golden Strong or Saison...
