GBBF Day 2. Key Keg. Hazy deep rich amber beer, good tan head. Quite an airy light palate for the abv, good fine carbonation. Sweet malt base, touch of creamy sweetness. Tangy lively fruits. Coca Cola. Little sweet caramel on the back end. Mild spice. Might have picked up an infection but it's doing this beer no harm at all.

Keg at GBBF 2918. It pours deep brown with a thick yellow beige head. The aroma is sweet, oily, brown bread, toasted grain, cola, nougat, coffee and umami. The taste is dry, tart, tangy, brown bread, fruit cake, raisin, plum, musty grape, date, prune and some booze with a slick finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A bit tangier than expected. Ok.

Keg at the Pembury - Hackney. Pours mostly clear copper-ruby with a slim, creamy off-white head. Tangy fruits in the nose, berries, some bread. Medium sweet flavour, more fruity tang, maybe raspberry, some old leather, wood, earth. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with soft carbonation. Lightly warming in the finish, more ripe and tangy berries, brown bread, nips of toffee and old leather. No coffee character. Interesting stuff overall.
