Cask @ Wetherspoon Piccadilly (a.k.a Manchester & County), Manchester. Clear amber-brown with a head. Sweetish mild, sugars are prevalent in both taste and aftertaste, although it's an authentic mild texture.

Cask at Calverts Court, Stockport. Pours a dark (almost very dark) reddish-brown with a small cream head and good lacing. There’s malts, sugar and biscuits i the aroma. In the mouth it is slightly sweet with malts the main flavour plus coffee and traces of chocolate. Chewy wine gums come along later leading to a slightly fruity finish. This is quite decent.
