Bottle at Pre-GBBF: Poured a dark black with tan head. Aroma chocolate sweet. Taste is milky sweet chocolate.

Bottle shared@pre GBBF Shindig, London (04/08/2018) - pours black with a tan head. Sweet and slight roasted malty with prominent chocolate, some caramel and toffee sweetness, smooth mouthfeel, medium body, dark sweet malty finish.

PET growler split at the pre GBBF Shindig '18, thanks to Fergus, 04/08/14. Black with a decent tan covering. Nose is mellow roast, charr, chocolate, toffee. Taste comprises dried fruits, chocolate, light tang, spice, brown bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok stout.

Bottle shared at Chris and Ruth shindig 04/08/2018. An oily nutty brown coloured pour with a loose beige head. Aroma is dried chocolate, woody, sweet oily chocolate. Flavour is composed of oily chocolate semi sweet, berries, vanilla. Palate is oily, moderate carbonation semi sweet.. Not bad.

Bottle plastic at Pre GBBF Shindig 2018. Dark brown black beer. Lasting tan head. Milky chocolate aroma. Some lactose in the mouth. OK chocolate flavour. OK I thought. Bit too milky for me.

PET thanks to Fergus. It pours dark brown with a small beige head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, milk chocolate, fudge, creaminess, toasty and umami. The taste is bitter - sweet, milk chocolate, toasted nut, toffee, fudge, maltesers, toffee crisp and coffee grounds with a grainy, sweet is finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A bit sweet and grainy. Fair.

ABV: 6.0%. Cloudy dark brown colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted - toasted, sweet malt, chocolate, milk chocolate, cocoa, dark malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, chocolate, milk chocolate, cocoa, dark malt, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180804]
