A hazed yellow ipa with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light resinous hops, dank notes, light citrus, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light dank notes, light doughy character, pleasant. On tap at L'autre oeil.

(473ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours very hazy deep gold with a thick white head and good lace. Notes of rather ripe and slightly dank mango, aromatic sweet white grape, pit fruit, lime candy, kiwi, smooth lightly sweet malt body, soft fruity yeast, lightly leafy but not as much as many NZ IPAs, fairly dry into the finish with the notes of lime candy and peels becoming more prominent, a soft pit fruit noyaux bitterness, dry white wine and kiwi, lightly peppery dankness towards the bottom of the glass which was rather sediment-heavy. Medium-plus body for style, oily to creamy, nice smooth but not soft carb. A little light on aroma maybe, not just to my dodgy nose but to my partner's one, but the flavours are perfect NZ IPA really...nicely saturated for a single and with a delightful wine and lime candy vibe. One of the best single IPAs to come from the H-P brewery.

Pours a golden-amber colour with a big frothy warm-cap, good retention and some nice foamy-sticky lacing. Aromas of herbal hops, light grassiness with citrus (orange, lemon) zest and hints of pineapples, spiciness. The mouthfeel is fairly juicy, with just enough dryness, but not overly. Again, the citrus zest-peel, mildly blended in with light tart on the tongue, and the grassy notes are well-hidden. It almost feels like a NEPA, but with the alcohol content of an IPA.

Can: Poured a cloudy/hazy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of tropical notes with some dry leafy hops notes and juicy citrusy floral undertones. Taste is also a mix of juicy floral undertones with some dry leafy hops notes and a somewhat dry finish. Body is full with good carbonation. Solid NEIPA with nice juicy flavors while not showing too much residual sugar notes.
