Cask, half-pint, shared with Finn at Head of Steam in Leeds. Lacing rings down the glass, pearl white head, misty dark golden body. Dusty hops and grain on the nose. Malt-fruity taste profile of bread, herbal hops and a citrus bite. A distant dry bitter finish. Satisfying (28.01.2020).

Handpull cask at the Head of Steam, Leicester. Brownish gold, clear with a creamy off-white head. Hoppy aroma: floral notes amid some apricot, pine and iced tea. Taste doesn't come off so well, sweet with the malt to the fore. The hop seems to lose most of its character, providing some light fruity bitterness toward the finish. Hoppy and slightly tannic bitter in the aftertaste with some caramel and violets. An above average cask golden.
